Nuss is fine. There wouldn’t be as many insiders coming out of the woodshed to end speculation as quickly as they did if there was truth to it. Sounds like a situation where it blew up on social media and people started spoon feeding it.
When Fournette got hurt in Fall practice, wasn’t it pretty much a conclusion, the injury was pretty serious and would effect his play that season? I think Nuss is okay, and the internet took it and ran with it.

Not a great example because he was never fully healthy all season and missed several games.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. If my memory serves me correctly, reports out of camp were that Fournette’s injury was pretty serious and it would effect his play. I didn’t see many people retorting against those claims.
This situation, you have pretty much every insider saying Nuss is okay and not to worry. I don’t remember that being the case with Fournette.
