What's a good option for a front yard fence along the property line?

My front yard is roughly 200' long from the side of my house to the road. I try to take really good care of my lawn as much as my budget allows for. My neighbor is lazy and refuses to cut his own yard so his elderly dad does it for him instead (I know, kind of a piece of shite). The guy is nice, but I think there's a bit of an apple tree syndrome going on here because neither my neighbor nor his dad appear to be very bright and the dad is always cutting damn near an entire mower's width (about 5') onto my side. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but I cut my yard 5" tall and he cuts about 2" so my lush dark green and striped lawn gets damn near scalped about 4 to 5 feet on my side on a regular basis.
I've mentioned it to my neighbor before but he seemed to not really give a shite and just blamed it on his dad not paying attention, but this keeps happening time and time again.
I'd like to put up some sort of fence or barrier along the property line to stop this but I'm not sure about it since it's the front yard. Seems kind of silly and I'd imagine it will look bad. What are some ideas that I could implement along the property line?

I'd start with a thin green painted stripe down the property line. Maybe he just needs a reference point.

Thanks but I'm looking for something more permanent than that. He's out there right now, actually. Started the mower up right after I made this thread so we'll see what happens.

A 30" tall white picket fence is the standard. Check the codes for your area to make sure it's allowed as some HOAs and City's regulate front yard fences

Go knuckle check him. Or ask your wife to knuckle check him.

Would a short 3’ tall fence consisting of wood posts and 2 wood rails fit the “look” of your property?

Talk to the dad, not the son. I would bet the son never tells him. And if that doesn't work then paint a two foot wide stripe of Roundup 360 on his side of the property line.

Can you talk to the father, since he's the one mowing?

Have you verified property lines?

landscape barrier, put in some tall skinny bushes...

Yes I had a survey completed about 7 years ago so I know where the line is.
A 3' wooden fence might not look too bad, though I'd prefer it to be a little shorter, maybe 2'. Just something to separate the two properties. I'll have to think about how to incorporate something like that into the look and feel of the property.

Build a moat and fill it with alligators

Cutting around a 200' fence seems like a pain in the arse.

Bushes/small trees in a long mulched bed.

I'd plant some boxwoods or liriope in a mulched bed. You'll have to trim on both sides of the bed but it would give a clear delineation without having to trim around fence posts or trees.
ETA: didn't see CatfishJohn's response but I agree with him

Trees/shrubs/ large flower bed. Most HOAs if you are in one would say no to a permanent fencing in front of the set back line.
You can plant plants any where in your yard.

If the main objective is to define the property line & not block a view then what about cement curbing? I'm sure it would keep him off your property.

Nah. The neighbor will spray enough Roundup at the base of the fence to kill the grass on both sides.
