Are tickets still ridiculously expensive?
Not worth it IMO

I was just out at Grandscape for a kids bday. I would not drive all the way out there for a football game but if you live in Plano then it’s probably fine. Tickets are really expensive but the screen is super cool.

I went last year to see MNF, had a great time, 2nd floor is best.

We were gonna go and then saw it costs as much as going to the actual game

Cheapest tickets to go to the actual game are going for $315/each

Its an amazing experience. I watched the McNeese BBall game against Purdue. Football game would be incredible.

Not saying it’ll be cheaper, but the experience makes that cost make way more sense than flying out to Dallas to watch on a big screen. Even Flying out to Clemson just to watch it at a local bar would probably be worth the higher flight/housing cost
I get if you lived in Dallas and wanted to try something different but flying out to watch it on a big screen for the right to pay 18 dollars a beer is not the move I would’ve made personally
But don’t mean to yuck anyone’s yum. Hope it’s a blast. Dodies was the spot to go to when I lived there, Stan’s blue note is a great one too

Does COSM have a special camera view or is it the same feed you would get if you were watching at home?

Better than actually going to the game.

For most of the game the view is from a single camera on the moving riser that you see on the sidelines. It's not a bad view but it's nothing spectacular. They also show the TV feed in the corners and I find myself watching those more often, once the cool factor of how big the other screen is. It gets better when there are plays coming into the end zone, as it switches to a goalpost camera.
The food is nothing great though, and it's expensive.

They didn’t have any games I wanted to watch there last year. Didn’t know they would be showing this one. I’ll have to see if our locals group here want to do that.
Went to a new Nissan unveiling there a few months ago and it was pretty cool. Food was ok. Everything will be expensive.

Went for March Madness... it was incredible. Immersive experience similar to the Vegas sphere. Highly recommend. It isn't cheap but you pay for something unique. Definitely pay for good seats on 2nd floor. Food was decent - waiters constantly around to get drinks etc.
