its an absolute fricking joke that Michael Irvin can get into the Hall Of Fame but Cris Carter cannot. A fricking joke. Seriously, who the frick votes for this shite?

Each year that passes without Jerry Kramer elected makes this less and less of a big deal. Utter disgrace that man isn't in the NFL HOF.

Carter and Shannon Sharpe both will get in. Monk and Irvin both have something Carter doesn't and that is superbowl rings.

Cris Carter is to the NFL HOF what Bert Blyleven is to the MLB HOF

No, Cris Carter is much better than Blyleven

more like had Rickey Henderson not gotten in, then you could compare it to Carter

I agree Carter and Sharpe will get in, I hope next year, although it should have been this year.

Then again, I wanna see Taglibue and LeBeau put in as well

Art Monk was a better receiver than Carter. Give me a break. Art Monk was shafted year in and year out. He should've made it in before Irvin.

So Scooter, you are saying that Carter is a better receiver than Irvin in the 1990s?!? Remember the offenses they played in. We must also remember 2 things...you HATE the Dallas Cowboys and Carter played in a pass 1st offense much of his career and Irvin did not. Oh yeah, Irvin had to wait TWO years later to get in the HOF. Carter will get in...he was simply a system receiver and not very dominate...see Art monk.

And they were better WRs playing running 1st offenses!
