Find some pine trees on google maps and offer to rake them up for them.

Cleggs sells them. They always seem expensive but don't have anything to compare to

Lowe's is the cheapest. Pay at the register then drive your truck around to the pickup.

My experience as well, plus I prefer the square bales that Lowes sells over the cylindrical bales that many garden centers or Home Depot sells. Sometimes Lowes are out, in which case I buy from Cleggs, which sells both square & cylindrical bales.
OP - I require 14 square pine straw bales to mulch my front yard landscape beds - about same size house & lot as yours. 20-22 bales to include smaller side yards and backyard patio landscape beds. I tend to lay it on thick.

Home Depot has pine straw in square bags for $13.98...supposed to equal 2 regular rolls. I'm not sure about that.
I did find a few sticks and some big pine cones in a few bags but all in all not to bad.

I would definitely opt for pine needles before straw since a lot of straw has weed seeds in it and that would kind of be defeating the purpose.
Like mentioned above------just rake a bunch of them up and fill trash bags with them. If near the woods almost anywhere in La. or Miss. it should be a snap to find pine trees to get all you need. May have to wait a bit until it gets cooler for more of them to fall.

I have a ten tree stand of mature pines next to the road…they drop needles on the asphalt and it’s super easy to rake them up into piles and move with the tractor. I usually get at least two harvests a year
I won’t rake the yard though frick that
