Looking for an AI tool that listens and then transcribes and/or summarizes the conversation.
Speech > text and then puts it in note format. Not looking for a bot to join the chat.

Are you talking about a phone call, virtual meeting or in person meeting?

Ring Central gave me this option for no upcharge about a year ago

I have used this before, and it almost got me in trouble, but for functionality, it seemed OK.
Just be careful using it. I didn't even realize what was going on, a vendor used it with Zoom and I thought I was just giving a permission but it attached to my Zoom. It almost recorded a legal hearing because I didn't realize it was attached to my Zoom moving forward
Also, it's not the easiest to unlink from Zoom, or at least wasn't a few months ago, just FWIW.

I just bought a Plaud.ai device. Its the size of a credit card and magnetically attached to your phone. Will summarize meetings, conversations, lectures, and phone calls.

Depending on your needs you could just find anything that will record, like a native app on your pc, then run the transcript through an AI to summarize.
I used paid Otter before with pretty good results. Then I cancelled it because I didn't need it anymore. A couple months later it randomly interrupted a Zoom meeting I was on. Everyone laughed.

Wall Street Journal just ran an article:
AI Is Listening to Your Meetings. Watch What You Say.
New note-taking software catches every word from your meetings—including the parts you didn’t want the whole room to hear
They gave examples of small talk during breaks or before a meeting starts, such as about a sick pet, getting summarized in serious fashion and sent to everyone.
That shite is going to get people in trouble.

FFS, you don’t know how to take meeting notes in OneNote? We’re cooked.
