I like scifi/fantasy
I have listened to these multiple times:
RA Salvatore Drizzt multiple times
Harry Potter series multiple time
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman Dragon Lance multiple times
I listen to audio books as I sleep because I can't stand silence when I do.
Any other no fantasy/scifi suggestions welcome.

I have The Federalist Papers on audible for when I need something to fall asleep to
Interesting and important, yet VERY easy to fall asleep to

I’m on book 3 and I’m loving the narration. It’s going to wake up OP when Carl gets an achievement though.
OP, I recommend listening to Moby Dick. Especially the chapters where he starts listing every type of whale.

I'm the same exact way - use it to fall asleep.
I would recommend 'Tress of the emerald sea' by Brandon Sanderson. It's like an adult fairy tale book and is very soothing. I would, of course, also recommend Sanderson's other cosmere stuff, but Tress was the best to fall asleep to.
Red Rising, as someone else mentioned, is also great to fall asleep to because the narrator is pretty boring but it's a great story.
Dungeon Crawler Carl and Project Hail Mary are FANTASTIC audio books but they are almost too good, and will have you hanging on to every word, delaying your sleep cycle.

Fantasticland is an awesome audio book. It's like Lord of the Flies at an amusement park.

That’s one way to describe probably the best audiobook narrator.

To each his own. I find him to be extremely monotone, like someone reading out a textbook to a class. Then again, I listened to the audiobook after listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl, which is like switching from watching Football to Golf. For OP's purposes, it was a fantastic recommendation since it's very easy and soothing to fall asleep to.

Dungeon Crawler Carl is incredible and got me into audiobooks
Also reccomend FantasticLand, Wild story.
I am listening to Dark Matter right now and it is very good. def more sci-fi like you mentioned and Apple TV did a show on it in 2024 that i will probably watch after i finish.
