Adams - Chester - Moore - Thompson - Davis
Remember when a bunch of people melted down that because "we wasted money" or "our transfers weren't good enough" because they didn't start on day 1 of spring ball (and Thompson wasn't even enrolled yet).

Sounds like they saw two different first team offensive lines...

This will be the first year that we can actually substitute on the DLine and in the secondary since BK got here.

Patrick Payton is very interesting because he was in Top 10 talks not long ago. But he had a down year on a terrible FSU team. People will point to Jared Verse and Braden Fiske taking all the attention, but Payton will play to a bunch of talented guys on LSU

Reliford starting day 1 of camp tells me he must be having a great offseason.

Let’s wait and see if BK can have them ready to at least line up correctly in the first game…

Payton gonna play a ton of 2nd n long n 3 down situations. He’s a pass rush specialist.

First time in the BK era that this ca be said. IMHO this is the biggest reason for high expectations for this team.

FYI:

A five-star prospect is going to miss fall camp.

Offensive lineman Solomon Thomas broke his fifth metatarsal and will miss “a month” according to LSU head coach Brian Kelly.

Thomas arrived at LSU for spring practice and made an impression on the LSU staff which is aiming to replace four of five starters on the offensive line.

Thomas is a 6-foot-4, 335 lbs. product of Jacksonville who was ranked a top five interior offensive lineman in his class by every recruiting service. The injury’s timeline means Thomas won’t return until the regular season starts which will be a huge setback toward his potential contribution to the 2025 team.

This team is loaded. The most complete team Kelly has probably ever had. No excuses this year.

The oline is far from “filled”. We have two new starters at T and Adams had a very rough day today.

If they are overly aggressive, that can be neutralized by play calling. Nuss has enough experience to know where to put the ball. Our weapons are capable of hurting teams on the edge if Clemson starts sending everyone upfield.

Not really. Season is over a month from now. He could be ready to go by Florida

The Chester anxiety/freakout during Spring was fun to watch.

You can almost guarantee a true freshman who is missing all of fall practice isnt going to be contributing much this year especially someone on the OLine. Those arent just plug and play type positions like others. I would go to bet he gets the 4 game redshirt rule more than anything unless we get some string of injuries and he's more forced to play. Really no reason to rush a true freshman OLineman out there who misses all practices leading up to the season. Give him some garbage time reps in the blowout games and keep his eligibility the same moving into next season.

I know he only had minimal stats last year in his mop-up PT, but he was disruptive, even if he wasn't in on the play
