While "failing to convict" the two-bit players, he got it on record that FBI knowingly encouraged all this stuff.
He has it on record that FBI knew that the steele dossier was fake, for instance, and also all the phone record stuff and other stuff they were cooking up.
'The FBI' is not a building, it is 'People' that swore an oath to the US. Constitution.
The Obvious Crimes of the FBI were direct orders from those in charge and they have names and those names are Not hidden.
Treason/sedition will be easy to prove and it must start with obama/clinton/soros/pelosi/schumer and those who were in charge of the FBI/CIA.
By getting it on record that they knew the evidence was fake, it will become much easier to prosecute them for treason.
Remember, these need to be open and shut cases for them to be impactful.

I hope the guilty people will be arrested and convicted but I've been on this Earth for long enough to know the US government is the most corrupt organization on the planet.
I expect nothing to ever come of all of this except to hear a lot of campaigning on "we need your vote to see this thing through" nonsense.
Getting elected and re-elected is all politicians in Washington DC care about.
Call me a defeatist, a doomer whatever. I have history as my witness, especially recent history, corruption happens in Washington DC and nothing happens.
I expect nothing to ever come of all of this except to hear a lot of campaigning on "we need your vote to see this thing through" nonsense.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Crossfire Hurricane was the result of Papadopoulos's claims about the russians having dirt on Hillary right?
How does that tie into the Steele Dossier? I mean I know it was used later in the investigation, but it wasn't the basis for it.

And where did Papadopoulas get that little tidbit? Mueller's sworn testimony that he had never heard the name Mifsud should land his arse in prison for the rest of his life. Either for the treason of conspiring with foreign intelligence services to undermine the Republic or for defrauding the taxpayer by feigning a role in the "investigation". It's one or the other.
