Now DM’s about cheating and abortions are out there. If the intent was to Red Flag men, then the whole project has backfired.

quote:

404 Media was the first to report on this second security issue, citing an independent security researcher who found it was possible for hackers to access messages between users discussing abortions, cheating partners, and phone numbers. In a statement posted on its social media accounts, Tea said it "recently learned that some direct messages (DMs) were accessed as part of the initial incident." "Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken the affected system offline," the app said. “At this time, we have found no evidence of access to other parts of our environment.” It is currently unknown how many messages were left exposed by the vulnerability.

I just don't understand why they got so militant about this app when "are we dating the same man?" facebook pages have been a thing for several years.

how about frick the double standard with these women? Can you imagine the fallout if there was an app where men could rate women, talk about their hoeish ways and otherwise bash them?

Not real women. No one’s posting actual pictures of females they are dating or posting real names in a searchable database

You've been on this site long enough to know any time anyone mentions a woman here it's met with "pics???" and some very stupid few have actually followed through.

There’s plenty of women bashing on the OT, but not to the extent of this tea app. The other issue is the OT is public, and the women can easily access this site. Men cannot even be on the Tea app to defend themselves lol

Yeah talking about people with no identifying information is totally the same as the defamation that goes on in the Facebook groups

Thank god this app wasn’t around in the late 2000s - early 2010s. A cocksman like me would have been in trouble.

How many of y'all downloaded and created a fake profile to see if you were on the list?

Asking for a friend.

They do face and ID verification. You’d have to get a female to do it

A shocking amount of the OT drops identifying information all over the place.
