Dude shouldn’t even be allowed bond.

He won't get out. If it looks like he might raise the money they'll hold another hearing and either hold without bond or jack the bond up.

Menace to society. Anything needs to be done to prevent a release.

Have to immediately have a hold order to evaluate his sanity if he makes bond.

Finally, if released—victims families need to put him down.

Do we know if this is accurate? I hope not. That shouldn’t be necessary. Do the right thing to begin with.

“Cash surety,” albeit slightly different language than we use in Louisiana, most likely means cash only bond, can’t use a bondsman. The alternative language that allows the use of a bondsman is a “commercial surety” bond. Which probably put release from jail well out of reach for this ole boy. Gotta put up the entire 100k himself or some other person, which surely won’t happen. Hopefully.

The dude was a frigging grave robber and they let him go because he was mentally not responsible. Another criminal with a long list of crimes out to commit more.

I don't doubt you but this is both insane and dishonest. Why the hell doesn't she just deny bond? It crrtaonly serms justified as he is a threat.
