Does anyone know the section where the band will sit for the Ole Miss game?

I would be very surprised if that was actually true. If so, what a shame. If not, I recall they say us not too far from their student section twenty years ago. Ole Miss is the only game where I had stuff thrown at me—hit in the head with an empty desani bottle on the field before halftime. It was also cold. I hate Ole Miss.

Same section for any visiting bands. Check with Ole Miss. Band may not even travel there.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if that is actually the case.
No school sends their full band for every road game. The full band usually just travels to one road game where they will perform at halftime. It's possible LSU won't send the full band to any road game this season. But it's highly unlikely they don't send a band at all.

In the past, LSU has sent the full band to either Ole Miss, Moo State, Vandy, Auburn, or A&M. It's usually a location they can easily take a bus to. Looking at this year's road slate, if they go at all, it will be to Ole Miss or Vandy. They won't take all 325 on the road to Bama or OU.

I was in the band from ‘89-‘90. I went to a lot of stadiums, and Ole Miss stands out as the only one where I would not go anywhere alone. I actually saw some drunk sorority chick shove a piccolo player on our way out of the stadium that day. Terrible fan base.
