Can't afford school supplies, but mamma has a new whip and a $1,000 phone.

Imagine volunteering for one of these and then getting yelled at when you run out of supplies.

PSA:
If there are food trucks set up around the giveaway….. their food ain’t free. You have to pay to get fed.

All these free giveaways and schools still want you to buy supplies for kids that aren't yours.

my kid goes to a pretty nice private school. Wife and I were talking the other day and it came up she bought like 10 calculators to send to the math teacher. Not that big of a deal, but kinda surprised they were asked for.

Shouldn't kids at a "pretty nice private school" have parents that can buy their own stuff?

It makes people that are guilt ridden feel warm and fuzzy. Until the taco truck charges

Then reality has a say

I wonder how many parents take their kids to multiple free giveaways and get way more stuff than they need.

I've volunteered reading to classes, I've stuffed many buses, I've donated to families for Christmas, I've donated kids blankets to ER's . I'm done. Nothing changes and they just want more. I'm done.
