What are we looking for the most improvement from spring to fall? I personally am looking at the run blocking and if nuss will run more.

Run scheme/run blocking. Take care of that and Nuss don’t need to run

They can’t let QBs run all over them again, that’s for sure.

Klubnik, Lagway, Sellers, Pavia and Reed are the QBs I can think of off the top of my head that we’ll be playing next year who can take over a game if you don’t take away their ability to run.

all he needs to do is what max Johnson did, in regards to using his feet. max would take off to the first down marker run out of bounds before he got hit.

I'll leave the designed runs for our rbs and receivers. no qb power or anything. the chance of him getting hurt and his lack of great athleticism negates the +1 advantage that the player gives you

Depth and Versatility:

Linebacker:
.
LSU needs to identify reliable players beyond the starters, especially with potential injuries or situations requiring more depth.

Secondary:
.
Developing depth and versatility in the secondary is crucial, as injuries can significantly impact performance.

Offensive Line:
.
Having multiple players capable of stepping up and performing well is vital for consistent offensive production and protecting the quarterback.

2. Offensive Line Consistency:

Pass Protection:

The offensive line needs to solidify pass protection to give the quarterback ample time to throw and avoid sacks.

Run Blocking:

Developing a reliable run game is essential, and the offensive line needs to create holes for the running backs.

3. Special Teams:

While not mentioned as a top priority, special teams can be a game-changer. Ensuring solid performance in kicking, punting, and coverage units is always important.

What are we looking for

Alex Atkins involvement in the run scheme... or is the "Running Game Coordinator" just a title on paper.

This board’s reaction to that first “1st team defense” tweet with Jardin Gilbert included is going to hit like crack

Clemson was bad on defense last year.

112th vs the run I believe.

We need to be able to establish that in fall camp and carry it over to Death Valley Jr.

Need run blocking and overall defense to improve. And knock on wood, no serious injuries to key personnel.

Always a great time of year. Looking forward to a great college football season.

Its not just a title. He was hired for a reason. Running game was deficient last year and BK knows he has to have improvement.
