Update
A Heat Advisory has already been issued for Monday due to the high temperature soaring to 98 degrees and the feels-like temperature heating to between 110-115 degrees. By hitting 98 degrees, this would tie the record high from 1993.
A heat dome will bring little to no rain relief. Expect a 20% chance of an isolated shower or storm. Most will stay dry.
Another record high may be tied on Tuesday. A high of 99 is possible. That’s the record that was last hit in 2015. Feels-like temperatures will once again heat to 110-115 degrees.
NOLAREADY: Feels like temps of 110-115 degrees 7/28-7/29. Visit ready.nola.gov for the Heat Relief Map showing free air-conditioned locations open to the public

Did they post the buildings that need air conditioning repairs too so you can avoid them?
I may go to Caesars in the air conditioning later and get robbed by a few one armed bandits. Luckily, I don’t smoke so I don’t have to be on their smokers patio.

Then why have an issue with calling it the Gulf of America? I didn’t mind the name change. Apparently you did.

More of the Gulf waters are controlled by the US. They can have the Bay of Campeche
The rest belongs to America

That’s blatantly false.
Mexico 49%
US 46%
Cuba 5%

Your phone is trained to appeal to you. When normal people search google "gulf of" mexico is the first result.

After mowing this am, the air certainly seems drier. Temps upper 80’s at noon, contrails overhead from jets on Victor 114, damned near felt like early fall…

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like it’s usually consistently unbearably hot by this time of the summer. It hasn’t really been like that this summer to me yet. I feel like it’s been a below average summer.
