OL early struggles not a good sign

We expected Shough to struggle and that will draw the attention until a starter announced, but with 4 returning starters (yes 2 have moved positions) the OL is supposed to be the strength of the team (it damn well better given the ridiculous draft capital).

That said, it wasn’t all positive. The offensive line struggled throughout the day, with several plays getting blown up in the backfield. Whether it was pressure off the edge or interior penetration, the protection just wasn’t there.

OL usually take time to gel. We're only 3 days into training camp, give it a little more time before you freak out

Why are you even on this board? I have yet to see one thing that you have posted that’s not attacking the Saints.

Seriously, we all know that New Orleans is in for a rough year, but every post you make is anti-New Orleans

What do you think you’re going to accomplish?

Need to fix that gif to “First Time in a Geauxldilocks thread?”

It was a report about some of the backups getting blown up (Rattler was the #2 QB) on day 2.

Why do y’all click on his threads if you’re just going to complain? I like to read the good and the bad to get a good evaluation of the team. It’s not a big deal.

I don’t get it either. We’re coming off 5-12 likely going 2-15 and people expect rainbow and Unicorn posts 24/7.

Go to Saints Report where you can read posts and writers like Underhill who has to let Loomis review the article for approval prior publishing. They ban your arse quick too for any criticism of the 5-12 Saints.

These franchises are going to continue to struggle because the owner is in over her head. Nothing will improve significantly until the teams are sold. Always makes me chuckle how many people want sunshine pumped up their arse vs the cold hard truth.

Anyone else think Geauxldilocks is really Hillary Clinton?

That article was poorly written.

There needed to be a lot more detail on where the OL struggled.

I agree.

But, we are all still waiting for the good from this particular poster.

I’m going with Kamala Harris. I’m surprised he didn’t have his pronouns in front of his name.

That would be a welcome sign as we have the worst DL room in the NFL:

The Saints finished 18th in sacks and had the third-worst rushing defense in 2024. With a combination of bad run defense and the lack of sacks, PFF sees the unit being even worse in 2025.

Need to wait for the Full Pads to come on…. before you can judge this aspect.

You cannot judge the OL and DL three days into camp. Hell they haven't put on PADS yet..

Team won 5 games with a makeshift OL and top 2 WRs hurt and DA as HC for most of yr, this yr they revamped/healthy OL, healthy WR corps, weak schedule and division, no way they only win 2 games, I say at least more than 5, too many things that have been changed to not have a better season than to win only 2 games
