Kemp’s team (and kemp himself) are heavily favoring Derek Dooley.
Trump’s team thinks Dooley would be weak.

I’m no fan of our establishment GOP, but our state legislature and governor did some of the same positive shite people ooh and ah over RDS about, before RDS did it. I wouldn’t call them RINOS, more like traditional establishment conservatives that look upon us America First types as ruffians.

lol Shirley you jest. He has next to nothing to run on other than being Gov where both seats turned blue on his watch.
Doubt he would even make it to the first debate and will have to contend with Rubio, JD, etc.
Not to mention he’s pals with Ratfricker which is an auto DQ for me

He doesn’t have a snowballs chance and I wouldn’t vote for him BUT he was one of if not the first governors to call BS on COVID lockdowns. He also supported and signed permit-less CC into law as well as solid anti-CRT legislation. Economy is solid too. Much of this he did before states that are touted as being the shining beacons of conservatism.

Kemp is termed out ….cant run for governor again.
As a Georgia voter, I’m pleased he won’t be running again. Kemp was instrumental in allowing the Mail-in-voting fiasco that gave us Biden/Ossof/Warnock. He knowingly agreed to the loophole, just like Raffensberger.
I’ve done business with Kemp a few years ago, and personally I liked working with him. But he’s too cozy with Marc Elias and should not be trusted.
