Thailand conducts airstrikes on Cambodia

Thailand and Cambodia have had a bit of a border war the past couple days. A few hours ago Thailand started air strikes on Cambodian soil, full scale war is a possibility

For those who dont know: Thailand is a long time US military ally in the region, Cambodia is still a dictatorship whose ruling party is the remnants of the commie regime, and its official name is the Cambodian People's Party

It trips me out how Pol Pot just sorta retired to the countryside and suffered no real consequences for his crimes. Up to 2 million people this frickin' guy murdered, out of a country of about 8 million, at the time of his rule.

I will be rooting for the nation we have had a security agreement with since 1833, one of America's oldest allies. Unlike our European "allies" they also sent tens of thousands of troops to fight with us in Vietnam. Almost as many Thai fought in Korea as UK
