Durham's investigation and trials against kleinsmith and danchenko are going to lay the foundation for all of the subsequent Obamagate prosecutions.

Yep. I was still largely disappointed in the aftermath of his report, mostly on what was done with it, but it showed plenty. Hell, the FISA abuse and fraudulent affadavits alone, and that doesn't even get into the dossier funding and setup.

1. Durham could only investigate **inside** the scope set for him by Barr and Rosenstein. Claiming he could have done what he wanted outside that scope will end up confusing people.
2. Durham had no declassification powers. Major time was lost during the years he was investigating in attempts to get ahold of documents and requests for declassifications so he could use it. Often denied.
3. Even if he was shown something still classified, he couldn't make any charges or any public statements about it nor could he show it to a grand jury.
It's actually amazing what Durham WAS able to expose with his Special Counsel investigation, but that's probably just me.
