I've never been so thankful for training camp to start.

F all that. We must have a single poster start a new thread for every tweet or article that is posted from every nook and cranny around the internet, then claim it's all credible journalism

I know this is his second year, but I think Dallin Holker will shine in training camp this year. I’d imagine he will get a lot of reps with Taysom and Moreau out and I suspect he will turn some heads. (sarcasm)
ETA: He was apparently waived as I was typing this. That was a new record for the quickest I’ve ever been proven wrong about something. I might as well add that I think Michael Penix will surprise and will win the MVP this year.

Since it seems like the expectations from the media are for us to be the worst team in the league would being the 5th worst team in the league be a successful season where we out performed expectations?
I personally think we could land in the 7-10 to 9-8 range for the season. I think our OL is good and the defense while old, is also good. BUT it all comes down to whether or not Shough is average as a rookie. If we suck at QB like last year, we are looking at like a 3 win season.

I would say that significant news should certainly have its own thread, but these daily threads can contain a lot of stuff
I won't be starting one every day I am sure someone will though

The Saints are overdue for some good luck in reference to injuries. It has been a terrible run for actually the past 3 seasons. We deserve a miracle or two.

I think weekend warrior is talking about all those fansided articles and such that the negative shite stirrers have been planting here.

So you’re telling me there is a chance to limit some of this poster’s activity to this one thread:

Doubtful.
I am not an admin and for some reason it appears his activity will remain unchecked so you can choose to ignore him if you want

Aside from the obvious positions battles and high profile players, I'm very interested in seeing the skills and progress of a few lesser mentioned players.
Quincy Riley wasn't able to do much in OTA and M-Camp due to coming off of a minor procedure. He should be 100% and ready to show.
Jaylon Ford After a injury plagued rookie season, I'm interested to see if he can carve out a role for himself in Staley's defense especially since he has some history working with Rookie Vernon Broughton and D-Line coach Bo Davis at Texas.
Danny Stutsman This dude seem to be flying under the radar but everything I've seen and read about him make me think at some point in 2025 he's going to make it hard for the coaches to keep him out of the line up.
Kicker battles
Grupe vs. Smyth - Grupe has improved a lot but I've heard Smyth is a legit NFL PK and my land on a roster as soon as this season.
Hayball vs. Burnip - Hayball has been adequate at best and there's a lot to like about the rookie form Alabama.
In a year where Punter and Place Kicker may mean the difference between wins and losses the staff has to get these two right.

Good choices. I'm interested in seeing a few guys perhaps step up.
Ford is on my list as well. Looking to watch Kevin Austin WR, Beanum CB, Holker TE, Velus can he not drop the ball Jones, Devin Neal rb, Rico Payton CB, Simpkins G and Rejzohn CB.
