I just hope we have a year that determines if either of our young QBs can be a franchise guy. If not I want to be in a position to get someone who potentially can. That’s literally all that matters to me this season.

10-7 NFC championship loss to Philly with Rattler as the starting QB. Shows enough promise to build around as the franchise leader for years to come

Im rooting for Shough or Rattler first. Don't expect rookie Jayden Daniels or Joe Burrow but I want to see something.
But the way this upcoming draft looks at QB it couldn't have worked out much better. Looks like a deep QB class with or without Manning.
Either we have our franchise guy or will be able to get our Franchise guy.
Along with removing the anvil that was most of that Carr contract the path to recovery is right in front of us...just cant screw it up

In all seriousness, I think an 8-9 or 9-8 season would likely be really good. That likely means Shough showed enough promise to be a starting caliber QB and CKM was able to out coach some other teams.

A true saints fan wants us to get better. I like this new coach but he needs pieces to work with. Lets go thru a bad season to get a high draft pick…instead of pick number 15-18.
