I recently was exposed to that genre of music and really like it.

Reminds me of 60's psychedelia.

That's a great song and vibe. I was never really deep into shoegaze, but I did appreciate some of it along with some trip hop and downtempo stuff.

For example - Lush's album "Split" was and is one of my favorite albums from the 90s and I still listen to it today.

Lush comes up on my app a lot because of my love for LadyKillers, but I have found I like their Shoegaze/Dream Pop stuff as well.

I listened to Split for the first time in quite a while last week; good stuff. My favorite is Spooky. Gala is good too.

I love Split from start to finish but especially "Lovelife", "Undertow", "Never-Never" and "Desire Lines". Just some damn good songs.

A lot of that chill stuff from the 90s and early 00s like Lush, Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Zero 7, etc is hard to beat for the mood it creates.

If you are not already familiar with it, Slowdive's self-titled album from 2017 is excellent. The Drop Nineteens have also reformed and their 2023 album Hard Light is worth checking out.

I really have only listened to parts of Souvlaki. I start stations with Alison all the time, but my app doesn't reach out much with Slowdive for some reason.

These guys get tossed into the shoegaze box, but it really only fits a few of their songs. This is from their new album, which I really like:

Give DIIV a go. The dream pop/shoegaze style is huge in indie rock right now. Lots of it out there and a lot of it is really good.
