I'm talking the book that kept you engaged, informed, or entertained....to the point that you hated to get to your destination because you wanted to keep listening!
Thanks.
Thanks.

11-22-63 by Stephen King. Very entertaining and the narrator does an amazing job with the voices of the different characters.

Start Dungeon Crawler Carl or the Red Rising series.

Project Hail Mary would be good for that timeframe
Edit: You could start the Dresden Files as well, they are quick but there are a lot of them

Challenger by Adam higganbotham
You know how it ends but the buildup to it and how they picked the astronauts and their backgrounds and the numerous failures of nasa throughout the process will keep you intrigued

I'll second:
11-22-63
and
Project Hail Mary
Both excellent books with great narrators.
I'll throw in Red Rising, as well.

Second dungeon crawler Carl. Red rising is awesome too no clue how the narrator does. 11/23/63 was also really good too second fav king book behind The Stand.

I'll add a 3rd for Project Hail Mary. Narrator does a terrific job. Listened to it on a road trip with the whole family in the car and everyone was listening in.

Personally not a fan of the red rising narrator. I use that to fall asleep sometimes. DCC or Project Hail Mary is the way to go if you want to stay engaged with the audio book without drifting.

One Second After
The narrator does an ok job. When he reads a womans voice it occasionally sounds like a tranny but its not enough to distract from the story which will open your eyes about how delicate our way of life is now.
The narrator for 2nd and 3rd book in the series is better in my opinion.

Heck, I'd listen to Carlin's Ghosts of the Ostfront - that's just about right.

For something different and hilarious checkout the first Harry Flashman novel called The Flashman Papers.
The reader is great as well.

Can't go wrong with:
Ready Player One- Great as an audio book and different enough to the movie)
Dresden Files- The first book, Storm Front, is doable in 7 Hours at 1.2 speed if you want something with a bow on it
Red Rising Series
DCC- Good but still LitRPG so plot isn't that deep
For an off the map recommendation:
Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold
I started with The Warrior's Apprentice but there are a number of ways to do the order of the books. Witty main character that is a different sort of hero.

I've never read the Vorkosigian series but I have always loved the Chalion series Bujold put out. One of those series I've loved that you don't see mentioned very often.
