Peak HR Derby was with Josh Hamilton (who didn't even win it) in 2008 in the final year of Yankee Stadium. It's all down hill from there

They changed the format after he went off in that derby.
The old format was way more fun to watch. You actually had time to appreciate the bombs being hit instead of nowadays having another pitch or 2 thrown before the first homer lands. And when a hitter got on a roll, it seems like the crowds were way more into it and they'd show the other players on the field getting hyped up over it. Bring back the 10 out format!
