If you told me Kade Woods drafted before Stanfield, Noot, or Cowan.

Would have lost some money. I don’t think he pitched more than a couple of innings this year. Congrats to him and wish him well in the future.

I’m shocked too. He was slated to come to La Tech. Hate that he won’t make it to campus, but good for him

Definitely would have helped out Tech. They are in desperate need of some arms.

I had to look it up...appears he pitched in 1.2 innings over the season. Now that's wild...good on him.

I was surprised both ways. I didn't think Frey would go as high as he did not because he isn't a good player but because he hadn't established a position yet. He is listed as an OF. But I was shocked that Zac Cowan who was 1st team All SEC this season was not selected at all. He had a 2.94 ERA 60 K 44 H and only 12 BB in 52 IP. HUH????? And Stanfield was a solid player with a .298 BA and a good CF from what I remember. Noot I can see either way 4.13 ERA and in 33 IP only 28 H and 44 K but he seemed up and down on his control.

I agree with you on your title and I would have lost money also.

Stanfield and Cowan aren’t shockers. What do you think those guys have to offer a Major League team? Nothing. They were good college players. That was their ceiling.
