I reached an age where there is constant music in my head a few years ago. You get used to it.

Read up on earworm is says song you heard can’t get out head. Some of these songs I haven’t heard for 40 years. No BS.

I have ear worms all the time. But that's because I'm always listening to old rock from the '60s and '70s. And I'm constantly doing research on obscure groups from that era. It's usually stuff I incorporate into my books.

Why does having a personal soundtrack bother you?

I sometimes I wake up feet hit the floor and bam. Sometimes classic rock from 70s , freaking New Kids On The Block, Whitney Houston even Lou Rawls. Man I am no fan of some of that music.

Yesterday woke up to BlackOak Arkansas. Come on I haven’t heard that in 50 years.

No! Funny ,I had three hemorrhoids banded in last few months. Good luck with that. That’s a pain in the arse.

I’m not sure if this relates but I’ll sleep and wake up and sleep again and i more times than not I always have some song playing in my head and I get it out. It’s always a different song but it’s a song that I recognize whether I liked it or not

How old are you? Do you have hearing loss? I do ever since a scuba accident, and sometimes “white noise” like the sound of the fridge and AC will reorganize into a song if i’m not thinking about anything else. But TBH, you should probably get that checked. If it’s a true hallucination you might need an MRI.
