WWL Radio asked that question this evening.
What four persons belong up there?
Deke said Pistol Pete, Bill Russell, and Eddie Robinson are shoo-ins.
I disagree.
Undoubtedly, Bill Russell is one of the greatest players in the history of sports. Top 10 or 20, even, but hardly anybody identifies him with Louisiana.
And the Eddie Robinson pick... that's just a token choice for the black crowd.
I gotta go with:
Pete Maravich
Shaq O'Neal
Mel Ott

I thought about this earlier. If you had to choose from each state, that would be tough. I guess I would choose from AL rather than NV and go with:
