I’ve never seen such. I’m not even sure what to think about it. I wonder if anybody was cheering because they were glad these freaks were gone?
I would never be in that whole group ever, but if I was, I’d be cheering because I wasn’t the one that got laid off.

Loser parade. These motherfrickers think we work for them. Sorry I just don’t like government employees who do nothing all day. Then complain life is not fair.

These people act like they’re doing Gods work and aren’t public servants.

The only time I got laid off (thank you 2008) I was walked out of the building by security. I could tell the security guard hated his job that day, and we passed by a colleague who realized what was happening, gave me a hug and started crying.

The last thing I wanted was fanfare. Just wanted to go back home, get a beer out of the fridge and enjoy the peace and calm before the GF got home and I had to explain everything.

There damn sure wasn’t anything like this.

I would be fcking pissed and emasculated if people did this to me. Want to support me and show your appreciation. Help me find another job. It's one of the highest compliments a person can give you.

I, one million percent believe shrinking the federal gov't is the responsible and correct thing to do.

with that said, I won't celebrate anyone losing their livelihood. at the same time i won't worry about it either.

ICE is hiring. Most will have a new gov't job whenever their severance runs out.

Have you guys ever lived outside the states and gone to a social state function?

Its full of people from the Embassy, World bank, IFC, Dev Bank, UN,all the govt agencies. And they all talk about their "harrowing" stations in Switzerland, or South Africa. Talk about this "to die for" coffee shop in Austria. Then look at you with disgust cause you are one of those pesky expats.

They transfer from one agency to another, making a shat ton of money, living of a govt stipend......and dont do shat.

I saw some not long ago standing around monitoring some local paint a blue teddy bear, with a band aid on its chest, on a wall. Its some international campaign to stop child abuse. Three lily white kids covered in sun block "observing" this guy. Probably did one sign, headed to starbucks for a latte and TGI afterwards for drinks.

Saw a piper (drug addict) with one of the shirts not long after, wanted to ask him if the tshirt ensured he would not kick the shat out of his kid in a drug rage

If I worked for the government, I’d move almost all my personal stuff out now. And I’d keep a big gym bag at the office for what’s left.

Zero chance someone photographs me walking out of the office with a box.
