Some points before we start.

They were blown the frick out in their last two openers. Once by UGA, the other by Duke. Neither were close. We aren't the only ones with shitty openings lately.

We are their ONLY challenge on the whole schedule. Its a snoozfest. Being a Clemson fan this year will be fantastically boring. They will be up for this. A loss here severely hurts them, because they'll have to play mistake free ball the rest of the way.

There's no way around it. They are stacked this year. Klubnik is a senior, and there aren't many teams who wouldn't take him right now.

The Nuss/Klubnik stat battle is gonna be one to watch.

Woods is insane. His pass rush win rate is 14 fricking percent. That leads.

To win, BK is gonna have to do something he has yet to do. Have LSU ready in game 1.

Everything you said is spot on. On paper their the most talented team we’ve started the season agaisnt in the BK era even more then that FSU team. DB’s and O-line are arguably going up against the best position groups they’ll see all season right off the bat.

We got the players to go into fake Death Valley and win but we will have to locked in from the time kickoff starts. This can’t be a game where we play awful for a half it’ll truly take a complete full game to win this one. It’s up to BK and the staff to get this talented roster ready to go in that environment

I believe having an experienced Nuss under center will alleviate a lot of the issues.

I’m obviously asking because I have no clue.

Are most of their O and D contributors coming back?

And didn’t Dabo finally get aggressive in the portal? Did they bring in some studs?

They return 8 on offense and 8 on D.

Their WR and QB pretty much stayed the same. Theyre going to be really good

I think whoever gets through August with less injuries wins this game

I’m usually pretty optimistic when it comes to tTigahs but I’m extremely nervous about this game man.

Everyone took jabs at Dabo for not using the portal initially but he has that roster back in elite shape.

If we somehow get out of Clemson in primetime with a win, it’ll be the best LSU win in quite some time.

Clemson is returning a lot sure, but they were in all honesty mid last year. If these transfer guys on LSU live up to the hype we should dominate. I think our O-line should be fine and benefits from a more experienced Nuss and better playing calling (fingers crossed)

LSU wins 30-17, late TD by Clemson in the 4th to make it respectable

Honestly, sucks that we got them in 2025 with potentially one of their better teams in the past 10 years

Did they lose both coordinators? Could be hit to them no matter the talent.

Clemson lost their top RB to the draft. Their next most experienced RB had 295 yds last season. They might be pretty one dimensional and create an opportunity for LSU to key on Klubnik.

With a deep DT rotation, dynamic players on the edge and solid LBs in Keys and Whit, Baker should be free to let Perk play disrupter at the star position. LSU will give up some big plays, but with a better front 7 and upgrades at the DB position, I expect Baker to play a very aggressive defense to keep Klubnik uncomfortable.

I hate that Perkins got injured before he got a chance to show what he could do from the star with some experience. if he didnt get injured hes probably gone though

even more then that 2023 FSU team.

No. You’re exaggerating with this one.

We would be in trouble if that was actually true.

It will be a battle that he better have his team ready for or a lot of people will be pissed. If we are ready and we play great ball to the end and have a loss it will still be ugly for BK.

If we dominate this Clemson team , I'll buy playoff tickets. Ain't no way. BK has a LOT to prove. His track record in openers has been next level awful.

It'll be a close game

Don’t think I am. Cade is much more talented as a thrower than Travis. Cade a legit first round pick at qb that was never trvais. That kid was a tough SOB tho

Sammy brown is better then any lb FSU had that year

DL is a draw. Both had dudes. TJ Parker and Peter woods are as talented a duo as Jared verse and fiske. Payton was def better then the no.2 edge rusher for Clemson tho

This may be a hot take but Clemson on paper is a better wr corps. Coleman and Wilson were two big physical dogs but Clemson has a legit 3 headed monster in Moore, Wesco and Williams. Would not shock me if all those guys go on to be first round picks they’re that talented.

OL neither was otherworldly or spectacular but Clemson prob has guys that will get drafted higher on their OL than that FSU team

RB definitively goes to FSU for sure tho

Secondary prob goes to FSU they have a very stingy backend that year

But overall , yea Clemson has more dudes

How ready the o line and the dbs are what will decide the game for LSU I predict.

Unless they're better with the new ones than the old ones.
