I've found lately that I really enjoy reading books about haunted houses. I read The Shining (not a haunted house I know) a long time ago and just finished reading The Haunting of Hill House and am currently reading Hell House. What are some other suggested books about haunted houses I should check out, either fiction or non-fiction?

I recently read this and it was pretty good. Takes place in Louisiana.

Though not really a haunted house, I always recommend House of Leaves. But its a book that most people either love or hate.

About a quarter of the way through Hell House and so far, am definitely enjoying it more than The Haunting of Hill House. After reading The Haunting of Hill House, I felt that it was overrated and don't understand why it is considered one of the best haunted house books of all time.

Kill Creek is a pretty good one. A Winter Haunting is also really good.

Author M.L. Bullock has a series of "haunting" books that take place in and around the Gulf. I'm currently reading The Gray Lady of Wilmer. They're all short (150-200) pages, but are pretty solid.

That book didn't even really hit me as a haunted house book. It seemed to be more about depression.

Anne Rice's The Witching Hour isn't exactly a haunted house book but the old house is a major character in the book. Nobody does creepy New Orleans like Anne Rice.
