I think the murder rate in BR is way down like NOLA. The state police have been doing a stellar job cleaning up NOLA. It's a shame that the whole state's tax dollars are going to that, but impressive nonetheless

This is the “for worse” part of the vow with regard to NOLA.
The entire 19th Century and the first 2/3rds of the 20th Century, NOLA carried the rest of the State in a lot of ways.
