Red Snapper Recipes

I was just gifted a bunch of red snapper fillets from my brother. All frozen. Some of them are full fillets, and some of them are on the half shell. What are your go-to ways to prepare red snapper? I was thinking blackening, grilling for tacos, or just baking in the oven with lemon.

All those are good ways to cook them. You could also make a Fish Tagine using them and a Red Snapper Veracruz

I love grilled on the half shell. Brush them with a nice seasoned butter mixture. I cook them flesh side first to get some grill marks and flavor there and then flip for the rest of the cook. Save some of the butter sauce for serving and add some lemon juice.
For the filets meuniere or amandine are good preparations.

Make a seasoned egg wash. Crush a sleeve of Ritz crackers in a ziploc bag.
Put 1/4" of olive in cast iron pan. Run them thru the egg wash then in the ritz.
Cook 2-3 minutes per side. ENJOY!

Season filets with your favorite seasoning (I like just salt and pepper here) and coat with flour. Heat up a skillet with butter and olive oil. Cook and top with lemon juice, hollandaise and lump crab
