Jesuit Priest Claims LGBT Books for Kids are Like Sharing Jesus’ Parables

Jesuit priest Father James Martin, a favorite of globalist Pope Red Francis, has shared his disturbing take on the recent Supreme Court’s decision in Mahmoud v. Taylor.
In a 6-3 decision, the high court ruled that parents can opt out of classes with LGBTQ books.
In 2022, a Maryland county approved LGBTQ-themed books for elementary school children to bring ‘diversity’ to school districts. One of the books approved was titled, “Uncle Bobby’s Wedding” – a book about a gay wedding. Other books approved by the radical school board pushed gender transition onto children.
Father Martin reacted to the ruling and suggested that kids reading LGBT books is akin to Jesus sharing parables.
Martin initially shared a post on X with his disturbing views, but ultimately removed it and created a longer message at Outreach Faith.

What?
He obviously misread the quote.
It's not, "be fruity and indoctrinate"
it's "be fruitful and multiply"

The guy seems to be terrible - I'll get to that at the bottom. However this is a terrible argument and you should find a better one.
As far as the OT goes, do you also kill your neighbor over how they plant their crops, or do any of those other things?
If not, then your reasons don't have anything to do with the bible, you're just using it as an excuse to affirm your existing biases. Because if your reason was truly what it said in the OT, you would do all those other things with equal vigor - you don't, nor should you.
I know 2 things about this topic.
1. Being gay isn't a choice. If you think it's a choice, it's because you are a closet gay, or you haven't really thought it through. For all the decades I've been on this earth, I've never once in my life seen a man and thought - wow, I'd like to frick that guy. I've never once in my life looked a man and had to make the CHOICE not to want to have sex with them or anything else. If being straight isn't a choice for me, how can being gay be a choice for someone else? The only thing that can be a choice is if someone who is gay actually acts on it.
2. It's between God and them and is generally none of our business. If you can point to an actual commandment being broken, I'd love to hear that opinion. But I don't see one.
Now, back to the POS mentioned in the OP.
Talking about sex of any kind with children or sharing sexual material of ANY kind outside the general parental time of birds and bees around puberty is guilty of sexual child abuse. It doesn't matter what your sexual preferences are, sharing sexual material with minors is wrong and this guy should probably be in prison to protect minors. He damn sure shouldn't be left alone with them.
Furthermore, all this "Gay Pride" stuff is wrong as well. People who make their entire identity being about their sexual preferences are guilty of breaking multiple actual commandments. Could you imagine if straight people made their sexual preference their entire identity? And that's another thing this "Priest" is pushing.
He's a satanic pedo.

If you read his quotes in the article, he skirts the issue more than you claim. He doesn’t say that LGBT LMNOP books are like Jesus’ parables, but he does point to Jesus’ parables as teaching love for “other ethnicities” or loving your enemy.
This is a false equivalence and a favorite tactic of woke (neo-marxists) types.
There’s so many fallacies to address in his statement that its hard to know where to start. First of all “LGBTQ+” is not actually a coherent group. The issue of gayness is not on par with “trans”, or with “queerness”.
Secondly, opposing the pushing of this agenda is not the same as “hating gays”. Far from it.
Thirdly, as a Catholic priest, he undoubtedly knows that he is muddling the distinction that the church makes between people with same sex attraction (“gays”) and homosexual acts (sex outside of marriage).
Finally, as usual by the left, they all see children as the battlefield of idiologies, where their innocence and lack of knowledge and wisdom is being taken advantage of.
He doesn’t dare say these things straight forwardly, instead he uses intentional ambiguity to moralize on the topic of “hate”.
He really is an evil a-hole dressed in priests’ (sheep’s) clothing.

Any clergy member extolling the virtues of homosexuality is a charlatan, end of story.

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
