Just stalk the cases you are interested in with camelcamelcamel.

Even when I had an account with them I would buy all my personal stuff on Amazon, they would drop below my wholesale pricing frequently.

Their customer services is phenomenal. We melted one, told them the story and they replaced it and just want pictures to see it, not that the didn't believe it. I know someone who had theirs leak, Pelican said to destroy them and they sent them new ones.

If you need to save money there are great options out there that are almost as good, might be a little better, but I don't think the discount is worth giving up on the service.

If you are open to other brands, check out the ones at Harbor Freight. Considerably cheaper.

Check the harbor freight knockoff. I have several pelicans and the harbor freight ones are very close in quality and much less in price. Comes in black green and tan.

Back a couple of years ago Costco had gotten and shipment of the rifle cases. They had them for very cheap. I should have bought one but did not for some reason. I have another rifle case and 3 other of their cases. Pistols and such.

They're bullet proof as a case can be.

A lot of harbor freight things are made by the same factories as name brands but just rebranded. Cigarette companies used to do this as well to get both sides of the market (people with money and cheapos). An old lady that worked in my office that had been smoking for probably 50 years had a chart to show what budget cigarettes were the same as certain name brands.

Harbor freight case is nice, especially for the price. But the pelican latches are better. I've got one latch on my HF case that is difficult to open. And the foam in the Pelican seems better to cut out the shape of your rifle. The HF is fine enough, but foam is softer and shifts around more. Still a hell of a deal at half the price or more.
