Gayle Benson rapidly climbing the list of the worst owners in sports

Ms Gayle seems like a great lady but she currently owns two of the biggest dumpster fire franchises in professional sports. She continues to stay loyal to executives who have proven they can’t do the job anymore. What the Pels and Saints are both currently trying to do is indefensible, there is no plan just a group of people winging it. This will all come to a head in late December when both teams are at the bottom of their respective leagues, then what?

Apathy. Irrelevancy. We’re already here brother. No need to wait til December. The average saints fan probably watched 3-4 full games last year at most. How many games did you watch last year from start to finish and you were fully intrigued because you felt like we were playing for something?

Apathy is long here and the drop in season ticket sales for both franchises are commencing the death spiral for the Saints and Pels.
I’d like to find some positives, but ownership and management sucks, the city and region are losing 1-2% population annually, the real estate market is in shambles and Moreno (more woke DEI socialism) is your next Mayor.
Moreno had a nice fling with Rita (minority owner) and up until Rita’s unfortunate incident in Charleston maybe there was a path for peaceful ownership transfer post Gayle.
That is lost now as NFL would never approve Rita as an owner.
The Blender is substandard for a NBA arena and we’re one new Police Chief away from free on vehicle break ins again at Saints games.
Hoping for a miracle, but the best path for the franchises are to sell and move the teams.

Sell the Pels and buy a hockey team. No one in LA cares about basketball. Hockey is on the rise. The markets in Dallas and Florida are killing it

You do realize the only reason people want Gayle to keep the team, is because they acknowledge the very real possibility that a new owner could move to a more profitable market?

Its a bunch of fat and drunk dudes wearing their number 9 jersey. Most are black out drunk by the end of the 3rd quarter. But they know some shite about NFL franchises.

Lol how am I ignorant, never said she wasn’t making money? She inherited an empire. She’s selling bottled water in the desert rn. Imagine if she actually won a fricking game in the nfl or nba?? I never said you couldn’t be profitable in NO. I said it’s a real possibility that new ownership could potentially move a franchise if they wanted. That’s the only reason people want Gayle to keep the team. That’s why we want someone with Louisiana ties to eventually buy the team. This is nothing new
