Excited for this one. Their first two albums are some of the best in recent memory. Vide Noir was pretty good but I wasn't a fan of their last album. Just too weird and too much white noise, non lyrics tracks on it.
Was bummed with the release of the first song on this album, the one with Kristen Stewart. Just another weird song that was 90% talking and no singing. But got excited again with the last release because it sounded like old Lord Huron.
They are fantastic live.

Really like this song and video, I've watched it several times. Good lyrics, some really nice bridges and stuff. Perfect guitar sound for the song.

Yeah. Mark Barry is damn good. Check their Whispering Pines videos. He is creating some rich sound with very simple kits.

New album is very good. I dig the Kristen Stewart song but most of the album are more traditional LH style tunes. Great listen all the way through.

I need to check this out. I enjoyed Long Lost.
Been a strong alt country/indie folk year. I’d recommend the following to anyone that likes Lord Huron:
