Are you claiming these results are acceptable? The fact that after the dust settles the computers
still have it EGREGIOUSLY wrong should make the selection committee DEVALUE the RPI or better yet shite CAN IT!

RPI doesn’t value tournament games or Omaha games higher than regular season games, it stands to reason that a season long ranking wouldn’t align perfectly with tournament and Omaha performance.

It's a system used to try to help try to rank teams, most of which don't play each other or similar schedules. AGAIN... It's not used to help determine a single thing besides who gets into the tournament. It's simply one data point.
What is your better solution?

I don't care much about RPI but most LSU fans know and appreciate that Arkansas was the best team on paper all season. But that don't always win a CWS. Jay Johnson said as much at the celebration Wednesday night.
It's happened to us before.
When we hosted them this season, i looked up a the Lineup Scoreboard(that's what we call the board by the Intimidator) at Alex Box all weekend and would constantly think "how the frick are we beating these dudes?"

Would you rather it be decided by sports writers/broadcasters? Pretty much everyone was in agreement that Arkansas was the most complete team.
