Are We Worried About The Possibility Of Khaman Maluach Being Deported?

Assuming the Pelicans draft him at #7 if they don't get Bailey. Would you be worried about the Pels front office wasting a top-10 pick because of his Sudanese background?

Reading an article about it, it sounds like he's likely fine unless drafted by the Raptors, then it becomes much more complicated

If he is drafted by the Pels, he is 100% getting deported. Hell, they probably will assume Jose is illegal and deport him as well.
