Best Odor Eliminator?

The things you plug in, not the air fresheners, but the ones that ionize or however they work, what's the best bang for the buck? Area is the size of a regular two-car garage.

Dead animals are stored in a chest freezer on a regular basis and they don't freeze instantly, dead animal smell lingers.

Put some vinegar in a bowl and leave it in there a few days you’ll be surprised how well it works.

Do you know the source or is it just baked into the walls at this point?
In my experience most of those ionizers have minimal impact if any.

Try posting this on the outdoor board. They use ionizers for the scent less clothes and know about the whole process of odor elimination.

An ozone machine works wonders but not sure that's exactly what you are looking for. Dealer used it on a truck I bought that smelled like smoke and it was 100% gone. I also know someone who got it done to their whole house (old house) and it removed the lingering gold house smell. I know they sell machines on amazon.

Did an animal die in your 2 car garage and you didn't clean it up?

Arm and hammer baking soda. It’s what we used at the vets when I was a kid. Might have to use several boxes.

Just tucked around the room, or in the actual freezer?

I just have to ask why you are storing dead animals in your freezer!

Home pet euthanasia. The animal comes back and is stored in freezer until the crematorium comes to pick them up.

This makes me feel a little better about it!
I have friends who use a device that creates ozone to eliminate in areas where they store hunting clothes so animals can’t smell them. You might try searching for something like that.
ETA: The device is called an “ozone generator”.

I picked one up at a thrift store that's similar to this one. It's awesome. I run it in my truck after hunting season to get the funk out. I used it at the deer camp with good results as well.

In the freezer. You might have to change out several times.

Ozone generator works - killed the odor of a rat that died in our truck. Be careful in the house tho if you have pets. Ozone will kill any organic organisms. And air it out well before you go back in after treatment

Well, then that's not gonna work. I need something that can run 24/7 and I don't have to put on a space suit to enter the space.

A five gallon bucket of charcoal in each corner will eliminate all odors, replace charcoal as needed.
