I’ve been a member for many years over at Storm2k.org I spend a lot of time browsing during hurricane season and in the winter if we have some possible winter weather events. The last time I posted there was back in January during our snow event.
I tried going a couple of weeks back and got a 403 - Forbidden message. I didn’t think much of it, figured maybe it was just down for a bit. I tried again today and have the same message. Even tried on my work laptop.
My question is, is the site just down or have I been banned/blocked? I hardly post, as I said, the last time was during the snow event and I just posted some totals and weather reports from my area of town.
If anyone uses it and has used it recently, please let me know. If you see some kind of email address that I could contact someone at that would really be appreciated. I’m going to feel awfully blind without it during the heart of hurricane season.

Yeah but I really don’t think I posted anything that would get me banned. At least not that I remember. I’ve been there many years so I know the ropes for the most part.

I'm a member of Storm2K. Haven't logged in a while. Usually just listen to the experts during a potential storm.

This was under the Storm2K Q & A regarding Login Problems. I'd also delete all related cookies on your PC

The site has been shut down and all users are now posting on “stormfront.org”. I’d recommend signing up there.

I have been a member of S2k for almost 20 years and am having the same issues with S2k. It started within the past month. I was able to IM one of the administrators from my work PC and got this response:

It's possible our ISP has banned the IP due to a denial of service attack, or google has banned it for a similar reason. These things are usually temporary.
Do you know if you pay for a fixed IP? Might try unplugging and plugging the modem back in to see if it picks up a different IP address. I sent a question on to our provider to see if they are aware of any blocks.

Thanks. I may try using a VPN to see if that works. I really want access during hurricane season. I have tried on my phone, on my work laptop and on my husbands phone and gotten the same 403 - Forbidden message. I tried deleting history/cookies etc and no luck.
