Hog Euro Mount - how to?

Anyone here have any tips / tricks on how to euro mount a hog skull with an open jaw? I've done the rest and it is looks great, but wanted to mount this one with an open jaw.

I've seen them with empty brass holding the mouth open. I guess you have to glue it in.

If you don't want something visibly holding it open, I imagine you could glue a small dowel or something in the back of the jaw (both sides) to keep it open.

Prop it open with a stick and epoxy jaws together. When epoxy is set remove stick.

Yeah, that is about what I found in my limited search on this topic. Seems like you it would need a screw or two, in addition to epoxy. Trying to figure out how to keep it clean and not noticable, as this is for a family friend's son. I'm probably overthinking it, like I do most times.

Not really. With the epoxy they make these days you can use it to damn near hold together a cruise ship.

Any 5 min epoxy is going to work, just have to find a way to hold it stable while the joint sets, that’s going to be the trick

Yeah, that might be worth trying out. I got to messing with it last night trying to figure out how to. Keeping everything straight is tricky. Might try rubber bands to hold the hinge points in place.

Might try lightly tying the pieces .. then lay a balloon in between and blow it up with a straw.
Move it around, retie till happy and tape or tie the balloon shut when right. You're out the cost of a balloon (or condom) and a straw.
