I did not hear any lyrics during Curiel’s walk up song during the championship series. Did I miss-hear?
Or, do you think the section of the song that included, “Praise the Lord” was intentionally not played because of its religious lyrics?
Great trip, great games and great team!
Geaux Tigers!

You did not mishear. They played a different part of the song. I believe to cut out the religious lyrics.

Several of our guys had different walk ups. I noticed Milam and Curiel for sure

That’s pretty sad.
They will play some booty music rap and cut anything to do with morals and ethics. Sad World.

I thought it was an odd choice at the stage with the trophy...maybe just play the all we do is win win win no matter what...but
And I'm on this foolish track so I spit my foolish flow (Flow)
My hands go up and down (Down), like strippers' booties go (Woo!)

Yeah that was some BS.
Muted the words glorifying the Lord. I guarantee you that Curiel wasn't pleased.

I believe it is, “God Is” by Kanye West.

It’s really abhorrent. Saturday night they played a song where a woman was singing about taking a ride on a dude’s “disco stick.”
There were kids all over that stadium. The CWS has traditionally been one of the more family friendly destination events in college sports
I don’t know the lyrics to Curiel’s walk up song, but if they censored the spiritual references that’s equally as repugnant

Of course you’re correct, I shouldn’t have an opinion because of my faith.

I mean, if they give the dude a walkup song and then don't include the religious lyrics, is it not a slight? He picked that song specifically for that.
