Hope it takes less that 10 years to pass them up. That would erase the long ago memory of those USC baseball years. They were great back then but haven't been relevant in a while.

One thing I think is pretty damn certain- they’re (USC) not getting another one anytime soon.

Not at all. Quite a bit different game now.
Different even from when Skip built this program. Much tougher now because of him. He is the one though who instilled the championship DNA into the program.

USC’s Coach Rod Dedeaux (11 National Championships) was from New Orleans.
