Was Bodine good at stealing strikes or has Schall been harassing umps all year

Question must be asked.

The ump seemed to be ready for it.

The umps were ready for it and called the pitch as soon as it crossed plate.

Yesterday's ump didn't buy it either

I watched a lot of their games the last few weeks

He’s good but the announcers blowing him was out of line

He looked very average the last 2 games

Consider the leeway a roided up psychopath like Schnall is going to be given by umpires on a deal like that versus the Maneiris and Johnson’s of the world.

Temperament matters.

Bodine boxed shite up in both games. I wasn’t impressed.

I’m not sure, but he sure gave that side armer a bunch of ankle high strike calls. It seems like every single break went cc’s way, and they still lost. If Dickinson’s HBP gets called back; no way cc’s HBP today shouldn’t have been.
