How do LSU hitters approach the pitcher this afternoon differently from last night?

Stop taking every first-pitch strike maybe.

Swing the bat.
We had 4 strikeouts looking in the first 5 innings last night, with the possibly the most consistent zone weve seen all season.
Jared Jones and Stanny struck out looking on 3 pitches

Flukey had a solid game. It just wasn’t enough.

I hope this pitcher LSU faces tonight (another ace of theirs) doesn’t last as long before the Tigers start smacking base hits all over the place.

Or keep taking the first pitch until we have runners on 2nd and 3rd and then swing at the meatball when they aren't expecting it.

Hunt fastballs early in the count

I have less of a problem with the first pitch watching than I do the inexplicable staring at hanging offspeed pitches later in the count.

This 100%. Apparently the LSU staff has a different approach & it's their gamble. LSU staff > me
