Good luck with that. China will likely join us in destroying them at that rate since it’s where like 75% of their oil comes from.

I guess they'll block with with their navy. Underwater obstructions can be hazardous to shipping.

I’m sure they’ll try.

But this is what they’re up against …

Iran demonstrating why their decision-making abilities gives the world pause with respect to them having nuclear weapons.

Shutting this down is the quickest way to get basically the entire world against you, and also gives the US an excuse to use our favorite toys: our boats.

Why is this a terrible idea? It should put ships and land based protections exposed for 20 more Tomahawks to meet

The Air Force, at will, rolled through their IADS completely unopposed. I don’t think they realize how bad this could get for them.

If the Straight of Hormuz is such a choke point, why hasn’t anyone decided to build an oil terminal and pipelines directly in the Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, or Red Sea.

Iran Navy obliterated in 8 hrs.

Here's a link to the Fat Electrician, he goes over how the US Navy obliterated 1/2 of the Iranian Navy in 8 hours. Its been a few years ago, maybe they forgot.
