Morrison?
quote:

but Morrison has similar stuff for the Chants. Coastal's ace is 3-0 during the postseason, including a 7.2-inning gem against Oregon State in Omaha that improved his record to 12-0 this season with a 2.08 ERA and 0.91 WHIP. The 6-foot-8, 245-pound redshirt sophomore is two years removed from Tommy John surgery and is coming off a career-high 109-pitch outing. Morrison retired 16 straight Oregon State hitters at one point and showed raw emotion on the mound. He exemplifies this Coastal team as the underdog of sorts.

He sounds like a Shores clone.

How hard does he throw?

Well he’s got the highest ERA of their starting 3, so I guess that’s good.

LSU has faced 4-5 pitchers better than Morrison. Not saying he isn’t very good, but Coastal’s pitching staff is on par with with sec staffs it certainly is not better.

He is the 181st ranked draft pick. Again, good but we don’t need to crown him

They are definitely pitching off. If they lose to Anderson they'll have their best pitcher to go against Eyanson hoping to get it to a game 3. That's their only chance. I believe LSU will win it in 2 games.

This term needs to die. Pitching off means pitching DIFFERENTLY. He has started game 2 for weeks. It doesn’t even make sense anyway, but it is about pitch counts and days. This would be like looking at LSU’s stats and seeing eyanson has a better ERA, so we must be pitching off

Better question is who is their SS? Because God knows we will hear about him and how he saved a cat from a tree and how fun he is to watch and some other stupid story about his family being from Timbuctoo at least 5 times an inning

For some reason they have been using their #1 ace on day two all year.

If they lose to Anderson I hope CJJ holds Eyanson for game three. And not because of matchups, but I don’t want to burn Eyanson in four or five innings in the oven that game two is going to be. Games one and three are in the evening, and that’s where my two aces and Evans would be pitching, unless we lost game one.

The best part, to me, is how y’all thought the other games were bad?

Wait until they talk about the catcher Bodine

They are right to do so because umpires are fricking stupid, but he sets up wild and frames pitches a foot off the plate for strikes
