I've said it before and I'll say it again (even though no one agrees with me): Trade Zion for Bam - straight up.
We get out of the Zion business. Finally. No more wondering if he's in shape. No more "two weeks." No more baby momma drama. We solidify the C position with Bam/Missi. Dumars wants us to get bigger and tougher. Check and check. Opens up our options at #7.
The Heat will do this because they will think that "Heat Culture" will fix Zion.
This trade is simple and beautiful.

Ja is not available this summer. Give up on that

I don't want Ja. Not saying this is all players we could target or 100% available, just a full comprehensive list of FA and guys that have been in trade rumors. We should have a few opportunities to fill depth even without making a big splash. I do think we try to target a higher profile player tho.

Now that Lakers have an owner willing to jump straight into the triple tax - you can expect them to have first dibs of these lists.

Naz Reid would be a great addition
we get Maluach or Queen at 7, come back and get Clayton Jr, or some other SG, and at Reid, and that's a pretty solid offseason addition for the club

Would love Naz Reid, although I read something that the Lakers may offer 40mil-50mil per year so that would eliminate us from that possibility.
Also if we trade or sign a big name at Center then it is very unlikely we still draft Maluach.

How would the Lakers afford that? This isn’t the MLB, there are significant barriers once you are a capped team and even more you are a tax team.
Lakers are above the cap as it is, so no way they can offer Naz that type of contract without a trade, and sign and trades have new stipulations and limits now.

No chance.

Dejounte Murray
No one is going to trade for Murray unless they are rebuilding and Pels attach an asset or two to do it.
