You have to think with the storylines, this will have Jay studying Coastal’s roster like a madman. More than any other team he’s looked at this season. This series is for his history out west with Arizona and his new home where he won his first title. Both teams lost to Coastal and both were worthy enough to win it all.
You’ve got your best bullets in the chamber ready to go. He wants to prove he can build another dynasty in Baton Rouge. He’s not satisfied with one title. He wants his career to be immortal. And for that reason, I like our chances

Listen, this board is full of emotionally wrecked morons most of the time and that rate only increases when LSU loses. Emotionally unstable people tend to say stupid, emotional things but even if this MCWS didn't play out the way it has so far for Jay, the people who claimed he was the Ed Orgeron of college baseball should absolutely be forever labeled as the most retarded retards on the shortest of short buses in the universe.

I definitely know that he wants this Championship very badly. Now idk that he wants it more than his first one in '23. Majority of Coaches always say there are very few things sweeter than that first National Championship.
However, he might be more motivated for this one for a number of different reasons. This Championship would mean more to his legacy as the LSU head coach but I will always lean toward what Nick Saban and other Coaches have said about their Championships and it being hard to beat the first one from a sentimental stand point. The rest is just about the grind and business.
