Arkansas did not hand LSU the game! We earned it!

Yes Arkansas made some crucial mistakes at the end of the game, but so did LSU! Arkansas didn’t gift us a damn thing! We earned it!
Dickinson made a mistake and went to 3rd for the out instead of 2nd to attempt a double play. The same exact mistake Arkansas’ Aloy made in the 9th inning.
The Bear dropped a catch at first just like Arkansas left fielder didn’t make the catch when the ball bounced off his glove. In fact,
Bear makes a mistake almost every game since he’s been on first base, and we’re still playing for another NC!!
Most of the time Bear makes up for his mistakes at the plate especially with his home runs! Last month he hit a drought but he’s been on fire ever since SR!!
LSU earned that win. We have been down before early in the game, then those bats start lighting up in the last few innings sometimes not until the 8th or 9th inning! Geaux Tigers!!

Ehh. If Arkansas played like they did in the 9th inning all year they would have been 0-56

They should have ended the game with a double play. The missile to left to tie it could have been caught. The gwrbi could have been caught too.

You missed the point. We made our own mistakes that gave Arkansas some runs.

No it was a comedy of errors and misadventures that sunk Arkansas. The double play that wasn't will live in Arkansas infamy forever, just like the popup that landed between 3 players

Again, LSU made mistakes not too long before that to give Arkansas some runs, so I see it as even.

Other than Arkansas’ HR early in the game, every run after that they scored was pretty much on an LSU error.

They made mistakes, but it's all about putting pressure on the defense and making them make plays.

Exactly! That was a defensive game if you ask me. With the pitcher’s dual and both teams making errors in the in field and outfield. LSU just simply fought back harder with it counted most in my opinion.

Which is what we were supposed to do! We earned it! They didn’t give us shyt. We gifted them runs twice in two different innings on two different plays. Dickinson & Bear specifically fed the hogs some freebies.

Eh, they made some mistakes, without which they probably win. But they made them, and LSU took advantage of those mistakes.

Arky crumbled, they did that against UCLA in the 9th as well. It’s in their head, there’s too many things that went wrong to say we forced them to make mistakes; throwing past the pitcher, not taking a gift-wrapped double play, diving for a ball like that in left- allowing the ball to get past you to the fence, and mid-timing a jump and having the ball bounce out of the glove; they imploded, just wasn’t up for the moment

I agree. Both sides made some mistakes, but LSU made plays when it mattered enough to win. Kudos to Arkansas. They are a fine team, but LSU beat them 4 of 5 times this year. LSU is clearly better all due respect to Arky broadcast team.

I would agree, I would probably say that 100% of the time when a team wins a championship in any sport Luck plays a part in it somewhere. Unfortunately for Arkansas they were not as lucky as us. Their errors made up for our lead off doubles and not scoring a single run off them. Our bad luck was costing us the game until their bad luck cost them the game at the end. Both great teams both deserved to win

Honestly both teams left each other in the game. We both made mistakes, but they didn’t cost us in the end.
